Kait originally came to Stevenson as a deciding student, and due to her creativity and innovation developed a strong passion for marketing and web design. Throughout her academic career, Kait has distinguished herself as a diligent and forward-thinking student, constantly seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and skill set.
Kait is one of two Ripken Experience 2024 Social Media Interns. Through this internship, Kait has had the opportunity to engage with a community of athletes, coaches, and fans, and contribute to capturing the magic of The Ripken Experience firsthand. She works with the Social Media Department capturing live content throughout the tournament series to conceptualize, design, and organize distinctive content across The Ripken Experience Aberdeen’s social media channels. “I am very excited to be a part of such an esteemed organization that is dedicated to fostering youth sports and to continue learning, growing, and contributing to the success of The Ripken Experience!”, Kait says.
Beyond the classroom, Kait is deeply involved on campus. She is her sorority’s, Phi Mu, PR Chairwoman, ߲ݴý’s Panhellenic Vice President of Recruitment, and a Leadership Scholar. She also is ߲ݴý’s Web Team Student Coordinator and TheraSport Physical Therapy’s Practice Liaison. The work Kait has put into her organizations and jobs has carefully honed her abilities in being dependable, hard-working, and self-motivated.
Kait also played soccer for thirteen years, which has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the power of sports to empower individuals and foster a sense of camaraderie and determination. “Throughout my life on the field, I’ve experienced firsthand the invaluable lessons of teamwork, resilience, and leadership that sports impart. These experiences have fueled my passion for ensuring that other women have equal opportunities to excel in the sports industry.”, she says.
As she looks toward the future, Kait is excited to embark on a career that allows her to blend her passions for marketing and web design, making meaningful contributions to women’s involvement in sports.
